One of the most comprehensive civil society reports on the impact of privatization, Public – Private Partnerships and corporate capture of policy making – and on alternatives to this mainstream trend will be launched on 10 July 2017, at the start of the High-Level Political Forum of the UN.
Spotlight 2017 reviews the impact on sustainability and inequality of privatization, public – private partnerships for each of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It present examples of corporate capture of policy making and presents alternatives. I authored the chapter on SDG 7, concerned with access to energy.
